SHIKARPUR: The area police have arrested 20 suspects during a combing operation in the limits of Sultankot Police Staiton on Friday. According to an official of Shikarpur police Athar Channa, the police have thoroughly searched 60 houses, 2 Masjids and one school. They recovered weapons from the arrested. It should be noted that Shikarpur police under the supervision of SSP Shikarpur Umar Tufail with the help of Rangers have started the combing operation against anti-state elements and offenders across Shikarpur here on Friday. It should be noted that combing operation has been started in Shikarpur before the holy month of Muharram because Shikarpur has faced many terrorist incidents in past.
