HYDERABAD: The special teams of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) disconnected the power connections of 15 villages Friday following non-payment of the outstanding dues.
The HESCO spokesman informed that special teams conducted operation in Buleri Shah Kareem, Talhar, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Matiari, Nawabshah and other parts of its region and disconnected electricity of 15 villages.
He said that the teams also removed 200 illegal connections and detected direct connections to two tube wells. He added that these direct connections had been removed. The letters for registration of FIRs have been submitted to the police stations concerned and two power thieves had also been handing over to police, he added.
